Regret. Angeal's mother. She allowed herself to be subject to Professor Hollander's experiments, and Project G came about. After being inject with Jenova cells, she gave birth to Angeal, but some of her cells were also injected into Genesis when he was a fetus.

Sole Survivor. Genesis killed everyone in Banora but Gillian. Consumed by shame for what she allowed to happen, and the pain her son goes through after learning what he is, Gillian kills herself. It just so happens that Zack walks in while Angeal is standing over the body, and he assumes that Angeal killed his own mother. It is later revealed by Hollander that she committed suicide.
