The Heart Which You Show No One. Tseng is the leader of the Turks. He is professional and takes his job, and his orders, seriously. Despite this, he is friendly with Zack, even joking about his wages. It is Tseng that tells Zack that Aeris is a Cetra, and it is Tseng Zack asks to take care of Aeris, telling him you're the only one I can ask. In Last Order, Tseng is obviously against Hojo taking Zack and Cloud to be experimented, but can do nothing to stop it. However, Aeris entrusts him 88 of the 89 letters she wrote to Zack, in hopes Tseng will be able to deliver them to Zack. Acting of his own volition, he has Reno and Rude search by air, and Cissnei searching by ground for Zack and Cloud while they are on the run from Shinra, knowing they will be killed if caught, he hopes to find them first. However Zack dies before the Turks can find him. Without a doubt, Tseng carries a great amount of guilt over his friend's death, as he would not have gone out of his way for Zack if he did not consider him a friend. Crisis Core afforded us a rare peek of the cool professional Tseng's real emotions.
